Our latest event takes you back to a time when checked shirts and daft haircuts ruled, an unpopular Tory Government ruled the country and unemployment was rife. Yes, we’re going back to last Tuesday. Just kidding! The 80s – for it was then – saw the emergence of one of the greatest bands of all time, and certainly their most creatively fertile period. R.E.M. came straight outta Georgia and re-defined alternative music forever. Their five IRS-label albums are simply peerless, and it’s that era that Glasgow band It Crawled From The South draw their set from. A loving interpretation of everything that made them great, they play the venerable 13th Note on Saturday 20 April at 8pm. You can get tickets by clicking here for what is sure to be a fantastically fun night.
