then we’ll take out the bins.. no wait that’s not right at all.
Canada’s favorite temporary Bhuddist monk in fine form. Check out those synths.

REM did a top version of this on the b side of some single around the time of Green I think.
It was the b-side to ‘Drive’ in 1992. Believe they did it for some tribute album around that time?
Yeah it was track 4 on the “UK collectors edition” of the Drive single.
It was recorded for Cohen album called “I’m your fan” which was released in ’91.
Interestingly, that Cohen tribute album features 2 version of the same song by different bands.
I may be stretching the meaning of the word interesting there…..
Not much of a tribute, really, is it? Sort of indicates the artist only has 11 songs!
18 songs on the album and 2 versions of ‘tower of song’ one by Nick Cave and the other by Robert Forster.
Interestingly, and again I’m playing a bit fast and loose with the word, they’re both Australian.
Whose tribute album would everyone like to sing on/ contribute to ???
Blue Oyster Cult, just for the cowbelling.
On a serious note, probably REM. Or Johnny Cash could be fun.
I’d like to sing ‘Folsom Prison Blues’, just to make the claim that i’d shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.
