Hi Jack,
Erm….where did I say Eartha Kitt’s comeback was pointless (or even a comeback?) I was referring, through the whole piece, to Was (Not Was).

If you are going call me a fuckwit, you’ll have plenty of opportunity, but if you could at least do me the favour of READING THE FUCKING ARTICLE, I’d appreciate it! I’m never against readers engaging me in constructive debate – hell, I even enjoy a good abuse filled argument – but I’m just a traditionalist in that I prefer to do it when people have read and understood the piece.

So, in the spirit of friendship Jack, I’ll spell it out in big letters for you; WAS (NOT WAS) COMEBACK SEEMS A BIT POINTLESS TO ME, ESPECIALLY WITH THE FANFARE THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN. I hope that clears it up!

Also if you find Eartha Kitt ‘stunningly attractive’….dude, you have issues. Each to their own I s’pose, a granny-fetish is as acceptable as any other fetish.

Lastly, face facts mate, Eartha may well have done all that, but she’ll be most remembered for being rhyming slang for defecating. Nothing her, you or I can do about that.

pointless comebacks? seems to me that eartha kitt has never been away, at the top of her profession for over 60 years, she has worked continously appearing in her one-woman sell-out shows throughout the usa,uk,europe and australia, she has appeared on broadway, most recenty last year, television and film as well as recording top selling jazz albums….at 81 years old she is still stunningly attractive and still able to high kick higher than most dancers half her age….seems you just dont appreciate great talent and good music……or maybe you’re just a bit of a fuckwit? i would be interested to learnmore….regards ,jack
