You know, there’s a lot of it about. Music, I mean. And frankly, you don’t have time to listen to it all. But you want to listen to some. So how do you know the wheat from the chaff, the Udon from the Pot Noodle, the (Lazer) Guided Melodies from the Girls Aloud?* Well, you come here and read about it, really. Short, sharp decisive blasts about recent and classic albums, posts on the the live scene and any other thoughts which may pop into pop territory. And then you, informed reader you now are, can go and buy the CD’s. Or download, which is more likely, as you are slumped at the keyboard anyway. (Yeah, you cheap f*ck. It’s people like you who are killing music, and so forth.)
And because, let’s face it, there are forty hours in an office to kill (per week!), and inane shit like this helps. So welcome to ELM. And remember; it’s not supposed to be funny, it’s supposed to kill time. Or something.
* If you can’t already tell them apart, to be fair, you are probably too stupid to work a keyboard, instead banging the buttony things and going ‘maaag! waaaaf! firple!’ and generally annoying your carer. But hey, no other c*nts reading yet, so welcome!
